    Terrorist suspects in Spokane, Washington

BE AWARE OF YOUR SURROUNDINGS AT GUN SHOWS : TWO MIDDLE EASTERNERS were found to each have multiple other loaded guns, and several other magazines. They were escorted to the front and I believe turned over to police.
    Steve,
I am a member of a local buy, sell, and trade Gun website called Spokane
Gun Trader. Another member of the forum posted the following information
that happened Sunday the 6th at the Spokane Gun Show. Information has been
verified by another member that was there at the gunshow and witnessed the
following involving two middle eastern men. Here is a copy of the post and
the events. So far this incident has not been reported on by the local
news or national news and we all know why. They are here and we all should
be on the lookout at all times as Scripture is being fulfilled each and
everyday. Time to turn to Jesus for he is our only salvation. Thankyou for
    all you do.
    John
The following is the actual post and events.
Make no mistake, THEY are HERE!

Now stories will vary, but I got my information directly from the gentleman
who stepped in. There was a near miss at the gunshow today. Bill, an old
Corpsman type who checks guns and helps out at the gunshow saw two middle
eastern gentlemen enter the Gunshow today, Sunday. They were asked for any
guns and both seemed surprised and each turned over a loaded 10mm Glock.
Bill followed them after that as he noticed they each had "Syria" tattooed
on their wrist. Bill was distracted for a moment, but then was alerted by a
vendor that they were going booth to booth asking for "Assault Rifles."
When they were asked if they were WA residents they stated "We don't have
to tell you that," and one vender even asked if they were US citizens to
which they rapidly walked away. Bill caught up with them when on was either
reaching for his wallet or possibly a gun and Bill saw that he was carrying
another gun that was not checked at the door. Bill grabbed the gentleman
and noticing that the other was closing distance on Bill he asked for help
and another vendor and a shopper grabbed up the other gentleman. They were
found to each have multiple other loaded guns, and several other magazines.
They were escorted to the front and I believe turned over to police.

Now I was not there, I only heard from the man who was involved, and as
with any incident there will be a dozen versions, but I think the point
here is this is closer to home than anyone is comfortable with.

The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Wow. I believe this is only the beginning. They will be surprised to learn that we will not go down as easy as some of their other attacks have gone. I do believe that they know that gun ownership in the USA is quite high. They also know that shootings like we have witnessed of late not only serves to further their agenda, but also promotes more repressive gun laws. If they can bring about more restrictions on gun ownership they will be able to move about much more easily. Now is the time to support the NRA with our voices and our money.

And this is the prime reason why it will soon be mandatory for all firearm transfers to go through an ffl dealer

This issue cannot be avoided. Society/media/liberals think we can carry-on as usual. The Constitution is not a suicide pact.

We must be vigilant making private gun sales. Trust your gut and as questions. This is a big threat to the gun community and general population. We need everyone to keep your eyes and ears open!

Political correctness is the suicide pact, not the Constitution. There is no limit to the number of other people's lives the PC thought police are willing to sacrifice.

Request proof of residence and at least in my case I request a CCW license on any gun sale to which I am a party.

Ditto. No CCW, no gun. simple. I'd also require a bill of sale.

Caution and observation of our surroundings is reasonable as we go about our lives in these times. Those who "Conceal Carry", must also be judicious and careful in our actions.

Last Thursday the wife and I went to the theater to see a movie on the Big Screen (multi-plex location). A bearded individual having a "Middle Eastern" look was seated in the same row a few seats from us in the middle of the theater. After about twenty minutes my wife asked me to go outside a minute. She had seen the same as myself, the man seemed nervous, was not really watching the show, and periodically would reach into the vest pocket area of his jacket. My solution was for the two of us to move higher up in the back and directly behind the individual where we could watch the show; but any unacceptable action on the persons part would be immediately apparent. At movies end, We allowed him to leave in front of us before we left our seats.

For those who may criticize for not reporting the event, when do you "See Something-Say Something"? In my case, IF WE WERE CARRYING in a movie theater with a "No Weapons Sign" displayed, we would become the target of interest - not the suspicious acting person. IF WE WERE NOT CARRYING then we would potentially be patronized or even ridiculed for overacting in reporting the behavior.

Each must make their own decisions in these times, but I believe it is prudent to think through our actions for various areas of risk we encounter in our daily lives in these times.

Just so we all know - IAW a recent initiative all firearms transfers in Washington State must go through an FFL dealer. No privates sales are allowed anymore. In this state, you can't even loan your extra elk rifle to your brother-in-law in elk camp for a weekend hunt unless you march down to your local gun store and pay him a fee (usually around $50). This was the initiative paid was for by the former mayor of NYC (Bloomer) and now going to the ballot in Nevada. I applaud the table holder who asked these potential jihadist where they were from and sent them away. The feds would have probably let them buy. Three cheers for the table holders at the gun show!

Yup, 'bloomer' and friends are going local where they don't have to fight the courts.

I wonder if the story is true. I went over to Sgt and someone asked what happened to the threads on this incident. The response was "pulled at op's request"

They swore, if we gave them our weapons, that the wars of the tribes would cease.

I have often thought that gun range security is quite lax when one considers that most Ranges are in remote areas away from the normal hubbub of daily life.Dissidents determined on obtaining Firearms could possibly raid Clubs whilst members are occupied with shooting. We now know that Fanatics will go to great lengths in their terrorist activities to obtain the means to create mayhem. It is a time to watch your backs and those of your fellow gun Owners. It may be possible to have armed security personel at clubs in the USA but here in the UK we have Firearms but the reason to have them cannot be personal protection.

The public will never hear of the incident! Because it was a gun supporter that foiled the incident.
My question would be. How did they get the firearms they had on them?

How many sell a gun or other sporting goods used in the paper and have them meet at your house? It is done regularly here, I usually suggest a grocery store or convenience store parking lot and people look at me in shock as though they never considered it may not be a good idea to have a buyer know where you live.

I use my work parking lot where I have Sheriff's Officer around. We each know where the other lives when exchanging/viewing Firearm ID info as I record that on a "receipt". Required in NJ.

This seems to be one of those internet fables. I remember reading this a couple times over the last few years. Not saying it didn't happen at some point, but... I heard it from a guy that heard it from a guy... And when did they start checking your carry piece at gun shows? I have never been asked if I was carrying. Seems silly that you can't bring in your carry piece when there are tons of other guns around.

You are not allowed to bring loaded firearms into the shows here. Anything you bring in is checked and zip tied. Not sure about concealed carry.
