    A cross over stock could be the answer.The Gun is on the most normal feeling shoulder whilst the stock takes the Sightline to the dominant eye.I have observed one shooter with this configuration he restocked the Gun himself.

    A New Plug made from suitable Steel Bar with a smaller centre hole is required.Proof testing after the repair is absolutely necessary.The Beefed up Plug would give that extra safety factor.
