Well, hmmm. I've read the letter and watched a video or two attempting to explain it, and it was about as clear as most ATF rulings to me. Is there even an OAL for pistols, or just these AR/AK types? Pretty sure my LCP misses the 26" limit.. I...

I've never really been into ARs, but thought a short 300 BO with a brace would make a dandy "car" gun. My understanding is it is illegal to install a vertical forward grip, (didn't intend to anyways), but it is ok to install a folding stock...

What LAGS said. Depends on what tools you have or how much money you want to spend. A shotgun slug Foster style should work in a smoothbore musket though I have never read of anyone doing it. Not sure why. I've seen the same question a few...

shafer44, Ya, I kinda went out of the way, as I think most of us here help folks out when we can. Certainly hardly enough in it for the effort. Oh well, who knows maybe he had to go some place, it just seems a little strange. Mac

I will not take it to my county sheriffs office. Too many firearms disappear from there. I know the Sheriff and he is a good man, but he inherited a swamp full of bottom feeders for officers, but he has been removing them. I am not concerned...

I just used my 25-06 dies, they are Redding in a cardboard box. I have a bunch of RCBS in those boxes.

I got my 25Krag AI barrel from Bullberry for less than that if I remember right (questionable, admittedly!). Look up Bullberry Barrel Works. Give them a call and talk to them about possibilities as well. They have my reamer if you want to play...

Candle wax and everything else but Cerrosafe shrinks - you couldn't get it out if it didn't! Cerrosafe shrinks too, but has a known expansion rate.

Well no answer, so I'll withdraw my offer and brass will go back in bin. I thought the offer to be fair, but, maybe not. A simple; no thanks or kiss my ars. would have been nice.

These things happen. A friend told me when he was a kid, he handled a shotgun unsafely, and his dad took the gun away from him. Threw a double barrel Greener in the river. Another friend snagged an old .32 Winchester when fishing. I bet someday...

I'm also betting it was coned. I do it just a slight amount, but have seen a couple done by Getz that had the rifling totally removed at the muzzle.

Hi Doug, There is a sticky in the FAQ section specifically speaking about this but I will go through it again here. The forum doesn’t “bill” you or “pull” money from your PayPal account. When you set up your Teamboolit sponsorship through PayPal...

First day in a long time my back wasn’t bothering me to the point of having trouble walking, so I decided to go for a short motorcycle ride. I haven’t had any windshield time this summer. About 8pm I came up to the road that goes down to the...

Yes, apparently many European guns run smallish bores or so I read anyway. No personal experience. Yup! 0.731"-0.732" should be good. I'm a little confused as to why HB slugs aren't made a bit large so they can swage down to suit. That should...

The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!
