I have been using small rifle primers in place of small pistol primers for awhile now without
any problems what so ever. I know there's been tests run on these and the results appear to
be the same as the SPP. Now I'm running very low on LPP and am leaning toward trying to
use LRP in my .45 ACP. I know the LRP are taller by a couple thousandth of an inch, but I
cleaned the carbon from a few .45 ACP brass and seated the primers and found they did not
stand proud of the rim of the case. I shot 5 of these loaded with my 4.5 grs of Bullseye and
they worked with no problems. Has anyone else done this and if so, let me know your experience
by doing this. I don't want to get into any real trouble by doing this.
