Bought one from a fellow today.
The barrel has the loading tray machined into it so single shot affair. It's a gen 1 and gets about 50 good shots at about 21 fpe.
Has a custom hammer and some tuning and is deadly accurate and near silent.

Should be a lot of fun for small game hunting, pesting, and target shooting.
Sounds like a neat conversion.
I like the 5mm. Me and my Sheridan Blue streak have a lot of history together.
50 good shots, how many pumps with a hand pump is that? Probably more than I want to do.
I worry that the .20 cal. will die and you won't be able to get pellets for it eventually.
It's a valid concern, I think the .20's will be around for years to come, unfortunately the shrinkage in selection has already begun. H&N used to make a superb match pellet that disappeared 2 years ago. Several other types of .20 pellets have fallen out of the marketplace and I think it will continue to do so until we are left with a 16 gauge vs. 12 gauge shotgun kind of selection. Very limited.
i doubt in my lifetime pellets will be unavailable.Besides, oddballs are fun.Good choice on the .20

To echo previous posters, I had been using the .20 H&N Match Wadcutters in my Beeman/Weihrauch R10 for many years. Last summer I had found out that they had been apparently discontinued. The H&N Field Target Trophy I bought as a replacement work just as well in my gun. But looking at the declining selection of .20 cal pellets vs. .177 and .22, it is a bit of a concern. When Beeman was owned by Robert Beeman back in the 80's when I bought my R10 he really championed the .20 caliber. In the Beeman catalogs he touted how the .20 was a good compromise between the higher velocity of the .177 and the knockdown ability of the .22. It made sense to me then and still does.
the good thing is pellets are realitlvy cheap and for a few hundred bucks you can rathole a lifetime supply.

The .20 is a wonderful caliber in airguns.I'm hanging onto it until I have to make my own pellets!
