So I called S&W a couple weeks ago and ordered a rear sight assembly. Received it Saturday but WITHOUT the front screw. Called em back today and for some reason it's "sold separately". They were nice enough to ship it for nothing anyway since I wasn't told first hand. Seems when you pay for a complete assembly you would get everything! Sights are nice but looks like the same ones for an "N or L" frame. At any rate now I can practice with open sights.

I want to say that I put the sights on my n frame on my 500 when I bought a set of LPAs, so I think you are correct.
