I never really drank much coffee until I went in the Service. Learned to survive and even flourish on Mid-rats coffee. These days I drink STRONG 3/4 decaf, 1/4 leaded. That's all My Wife will let me get away with, HBP. And it's the cheapest sale...

I have shot the COLT SAA - 4 3/4bbl, Ruger Blkhwk - 4 5/8bbl, Ruger Vaquero - 7 1/2bbl and New Vaquero - 5 1/2bbl side by side. Using a Lee 230gr TC sized in a .454 Lubesizer die which only lubed the Bullet with 50/50. Loaded over 5.0grs of Clays in...

As I said above; undersized bullet diameter can be increased with Powder Coat. That #358430 ends up at .362 with a double Powder Coat. Just the thing for a S&W Victory in .38S&W.

ReloaderFred, I grew up in LA in the 1960's. Just can't conceive of having trouble finding 9MM Luger. We had 3lb coffee cans full of it. And Boxer primed too. The 1st bullet I ever cast was a #356242, out of a 1cav Lyman mold. The 1st primers I...

I've a six inch Model 14, I guess the 6" is my favorite .38Spl bbl length, if I'm not shooting it, then it's my Colt OP or M10 w/6" bbl's.

I've had an RCBS collect bullet puller for 40+yrs. Have 6 or 7 collets. Great for Rifle bullets that show bearing surface above the crimp. WILL NOT work on most Jacketed pistol bullets. Worthless on cast. The impact hammers are great. Just...

To put the thread back on subject. My 1st GC mold was the #358156, a 2cav. Soon after I got another 2cav, real cheap. Only cast about 2,000 bullets a year from them these days. Not as many as I used to. Did 10,000 on one long wknd, once. A few...

Five years ago, I went through heck getting Lyman to "fix" 2 New and undersized .44cal molds. Eventually they did get fixed. I swore that I'd never buy another New Lyman mold. And I never have. But a friend of mine that I do cast for wasn't...

I've had very good luck with several different bullets in .44Spl/Mag loads in Rifles. Best is the N.O.E. #432-247-RF, crimped over the ogive it gives excellent accuracy and functions perfectly in Uberti, Win 94 & 92 and Marlins. Also B92's. Other...

None of my .45Colt guns will accept a .44-40 cartridge. Wider case head stops before rim contacts the edge of the chamber recess.
