Have two jugs of this powder.
I think it's different from the new AA 2200.
Where is this old powder on the burn chart?????

remember this is DATA powder so using the 2200 or close enough data is just a recommendation.
you know the drill.
I checked out the chart before.
I think I read someplace that the Data powder was different from the new powder.
I think it was faster burning.
If in doubt contact the manufacturer - they would be the ones who should be able to answer any question about their product. BTW, I have a couple jugs of the same stuff purchased maybe 10-15 years ago.

I know the stuff was thee powder to have on the BR circuit for a while.
it prompted them to re-introduce the 2200.
giving Accurate/western/ramshot whatever they call themselves now days would be the best bet.
their number should be on the link I provided.
The old original Data 2200 falls in the vicinity of 1680, 322 and RL7. I have the load data .... what cartridge?

The powder loads for some cartridges have been changed from the original pamphlet that came with the kegs. I contacted Accurate about some of the data a year or more ago, and they made the changes. Some other listed loads may also be incorrect. After speaking with them, I have no confidence in their data.
What cartridge do you plan on using the powder for?

In the past, I've used it in .223/55gr for the AR.
Just would like to know where it is on the burn chart.
In my old chart I had it between H4198 and Relaoder 7.
Thing I noticed about different charts, is their all different.
What would be the most accurate burn rate chart????
I base it on the powder company's chart.
if it falls between 1680 and 2520 I just start with the faster data.
you can cross reference it to 4198 or something like that but I'm more comfortable using the faster data to get started.
I also have 2 near full 8 lb. jugs of the data 2200 powder along with the load guide pamphlet that came with them. Still don`t know what to do with this stuff.Robert
It works OK in .223.
Varget is better.
I bought a jug of the older original batch. I have found it to be a good choice in 300 Blackout.

I have the "old Original" 2200 and I load with the pamphlet data that was available at the time.
I did have anomalies with the 7mm TCU and have never revisited it to see what the deal was.
222, 223, 6.5 TCU, 30Herrett, were spot on with my chrono data.
Used some in the 45-70, but not enough to "work up a load".

You have the company's load data recommendation, load some up and go with it.

It does well in my CZ 527 in 7.62x39; I use this factory load chart:

This is no bench gun, but here are a couple of groups:
That powder is awesome in 6.8 SPC and .458 SOCOM. I have had good luck in calling them and getting accurate direct answers straight from the source. Also their new updated Loading Manual came out just last year. It's a free download from their website.
I have 4 jugs of it myself. I believe it was Czech Surplus AK powder.
I believe it will work well in a 204 Ruger also.
I picked it up for 223/55 grain Ball loads 20 years ago. I will probably start using it up for that application in my 3-Gun Ammo.
