    I put a thin layer of epoxy over the slot. Thin enough that it can be knocked out if needed.

    I like to clean it with hot water, an old tooth busch, and plain soap. Then dry it off with a propane torch. Then smoke with a butane lighter. Never failed me yet.

    At one time I was collecting .22 ammo boxes. Some of them are very expensive. I never paid more than a few bucks for any one box. Some times evilbay has some nice ones.

    Looks like it didn't sell. Price is down to $72.00 now We have some land here, I'm sure you could buy. It sometimes grows overnight. Not many neighbors. Owners motivated to sell.
