What happened to the back function??

My back button no longer functions. I have to wait for the CB Forum to reload after reading each thread. There is no holding down the button for a history of viewed subjects either.
This happened about the same time Windows 10 updated, but I don't think it's related.
I can vaguely remember the uncomplicated olden days.

I'm on windows 7 and it still works here...

We had fire, the wheel, metal working, gun powder, fermentation and distillation, procreation, plus antibiotics but did we quit while we were ahead? NO!
Scrap.... because all the really pithy and emphatic four letter words were taken and we had to describe this source of casting material somehow so we added an "S" to what non casters and wives call what we collect.

Kind of hard to claim to love America while one is hating half the Americans that disagree with you. One nation indivisible requires work.

These and other issues seem to be regional. I'm all over the web and do a lot of reading, problems are all over the place depending on which hubs a person goes through.

I remind them that the big "O" gave the U.N. control of the net a while back, so expect more issues as time goes on.
Click to see what I'm doing and have available, this takes you to the VS (Vendor Sponsor) section of the site. No he didn't. ICANN has control of the DNS registry. This is the same group that did it before. I don't know why these rumors persist.

Since my IC works at normal (60mbs) speed, I doubt a problem with the internet service.
The back arrow fails on both laptops and the desk unit. It takes up to a whole minute to reload at every attempt, and sometimes it times out.

The back arrow on the web browser? if so, I'd try to close the browser, then re-open it.
(Google chrome with win 10 is working fine for me.)

And of course there is a full re-start of the computer, that fixes many glitches.

    it's still the google thing.
Willy is working through the whole script here and some annoying little things are still popping up.
the back button thing pops up for me too from time to time.
it seems to do it if I back up through a couple of pages in a thread.

instead of reloading the whole page I just click on the section I'm in right below the browser bar.
this returns me to say our town or whatever then I continue through that section before clicking on the main page again.

Google changed that feature a while ago. It was something for the programming people would not delete what they did. Usually pops up after a update. Mine has not worked for over 6 months. It is a pain as I have to scroll over to the arrows to go back now.
