ID:	116226 There are some great looking bullets in this thread. I have just started to powder coat using the shake and bake technique. The loads in this picture were with almost pure lead and the PC prevented leading! 200 gr Lee SWC single lube groove.452 with 5.3 gr 231. 950ish FPS per my Gamma Chrony.

ID:	116227 My first batch of PC bullets! The Lee 228 .452 1R didn't work with PC in my Springer 1911, but the 200 SWC did.

ID:	116261Here's some pics of the Lee 230-5R.
I'm going to use it tomorrow in 2 rifles.
1st is an AR in 300 blackout over 10 grains of imr4227.
I'll shoot the powder coated ones along side of the tumble lubed ones to see how they stack up.

The other rifle, and you can call me crazy, is a 300 Win mag.
I'll shoot the Lee bullet along side a Sierra 220 grain MK.
    66.5 grains of IMR 4831

My first ever powder coated 9mm boolits, gift from a friend, to try out and see if I like the idea. Broke out the GOOD brass for this...

ID:	116409Aman, trust me you will love it. It's all I shoot in my CZ's (and all others) and even my CZ82's love it. I am half coating (only the base and drive bands before GC) on the 312-155's that I shoot in my AR 300BO. Picture attached.

That's a logical concern, and it's been asked by a couple others. I found a great article that explains what happens in the annealing of brass but cutting to the bottom line- brass won't start re-arranging its molecules until it hits a bit over 700F. And that to prevent ever getting close, don't exceed 450F. Should be ok.

Ya gotta have a pic or your post will be deleted.
I ESPC sprayed them sitting upright, no powder got on the bottom.
Cases went through all four dies, gun shot them, no difference. Except the ejected cases were easy to find on the ground.

Thanks to all that have posted some pictures and are helping this post along
    http://
These are some i was testing in my 300 BO seeing if they helped with grouping. So far all it likes are the heavies but testing is far from complete to give any final thoughts.
