While I have discovered using "Fluid Film" works fantastic there are bunches of items one can use to lube cases, even dish detergent. Check this site out, case lubes are almost to the bottom.

Yes "Imperial Sizing Die Wax", my tin of it is sold by Redding and it's green rather than white, but it's the schit!
I had been using Hornady "One Shot" and STUCK! so many case that I cant even tell you how many!, I even pulled two stations out of the shell plate in my Dillon 550B! for the 30-30!, switched to the ISDW and threw the One Shot in the trash!

I use the carbide dies for the M1 Carbine, and I do lube them. Also watch the case length, since the tapered case seems to grow faster than most others.

    Hope this helps.

I found out that the cases grow too,... when a round wouldn't chamber.. I had another round that would, and then started looking at them all... I ended up trimming a couple thousand of them, whether they needed it or not... So, do check length..

I have used One Shot quite a bit without any problems.. (carbine and pistol brass only) and the messy stuff from RCBS,... only because I still have it... I just purchased a spray bottle of it instead of the arisol can...That should last a while..

A friend of mine was an engineer for Chevron and gave me a gallon of the lube they sell to RCBS about 35 yrs. ago and I'm down to about 4 or 5 oz. of it. For the Carbine I take a big bucket or box full of cases, put some on my hands, rub them together and squish thru the cases for a minute or two and that puts lube enough for my carbide die. I load on a Dillon 550 where you want the case to slide in and out without much effort. I have a 4 cav. Lyman 311240 mold, 120 gr. RNPB, cast .309 with WW, feeds exc. H10

I lube every fifth case (using carbide resizing die). That is enough as some of the lube is still on the last case before I do it again. It simply makes it easier to resize in terms of force that needs to be applied and cuts the wear down on the sizer ring...which probably would last something near to 1 million rounds anyway. LLS
