I called Hodgdon about Leverevolution in the 356 Winchester, consider it a TOTAL waste of ten minutes of my life!, the only thing I can say is that they actually answered the phone and I talked to a human being.[smilie=b:

If I ever get off my azz and melt some of my lead, my Marlin 1894 25-20W will see some Lyman/IDEAL 257283 BOOLITS!, I've got a pile of NEW Winchester brass and lots of powder. I'll stick to the copper projectiles for my AR's.;)

wrench man replied to a thread Ruger AR-15 in Factory Rifles
The Ruger comes ready to shoot right out of the box, the Oracle need sights or optics, the grip on the Ruger is better than the standard A2 grip on the DPMS, also the hand guards on the Ruger are slimmer than on the DPMS and I only gave $460 OTD for...

Other than wiping off the oil they hydro dip them in it's been a fabulous rifle! the trigger on mine is very nice!, if you want a KRAP! trigger get a PSA kit!, the biggest complaint is that they aren't "mil spec" so what? I like mine, I MUCH prefer...

As the article says there are three Marlin hammers, pre '57, '57-'82 and '83 up, the two that are made are readily available and fit well, if you have an older rifle you can modify a Winchester 94 spur to fit, I did this on my 1950 "G" code 336.

Of the three or four that I handled I'm convinced my $ was well spent on the MARLIN 1894's I purchased instead.

I see that the Springfield Cabela's powder price is about in the middle around here, A little more at the LGS, a little less at the local BiMart's, their brass is cheaper, $ on used guns is hit and miss?, usually MISS!, I did pick up a nice Ruger...
