You could watch Ishtar and pretend they are in a western desert.

Turn on Netflix,, and watch "Weeds",, we are most of the way through season 1.
You will not care that it is not a western because of all the women and great funny lines!!

Try my favorite movie of all time, "Paint Your Wagon" with Clint Eastwood & Lee Marvin. As a "western," it's awful, but as entertainment and comedy, with frequent commentary on the condition and nature of the human race, it's really excellent. It'll stretch your imagination, but not all that terribly far. Many good actors in it, and the music is often really good, so you come away feeling entertained, even if campishly so often, and the good music in it kind'a fills the soul, too. I like a movie like that. Challenging, but not extremely so, musical, with good and apt commentary all through it - one-liners that are usually wry and generally true. What's not to like?

Another one I cannot remember the name but it was about how the west or TX was won had Joey Bishop as an NDN shooting at the attacking Indians and 6 would fall each shot, he was told it was a 6 shooter. They kept moving camp as oil kept coming up and contaminating the water.

    Hope someone knows the movie.

Don't forget "Heller in Pink Tights"!
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.
John Taylor - "African Rifles and Cartridges"

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!
