Cleaned 357 SIG brass with the tumbler and stainless steel pins, punched out primers in 38 Special brass will clean tomorrow after deburring primer holes. Will clean brass over the next week. After all brass is cleaned will cast bullets for reloading. All bullets are now powder coated after a few years of good results with powder coating.

I have found that a .357 mag round can be loaded with spent primers for an effective close in rat shot.

Put a grain or two of a fast powder into the case and top the powder with a compressed 1" piece of paper towel rammed in tight.
Fill the rest of the case to the top with spent primers.
Take some hard wax lube or paraffin and mash it down into the top of the filled case to hold everything together.

Rooted around and found my 10 lb. Lee pot. It hasn't been turned on in probably fifteen years or more. Plugged it in, added some ingots and waited. Lots of smoke, but no leaks. I may use it until I or it dies, whichever comes first.

Finally cleaned the last batch of 9mm brass! About 150 pounds of it in the past 2 weeks ... now it's back to regular reloading chores instead of just cleaning brass.

I may have passed my "Best Before" date, but I haven't reached my "Expiry" date!

Navy Vet- I concocted a similar rat shot load using primers instead of shot in a 12 gauge shell. Hell on rats and will break up bulls fighting through the fence Right Now! Best, Thomas.

loaded up the last of my 45 200 gr hp rounds, will need to bust out the mold and make some more. next to use up will be some tl 230 gr rn I found in the closet. need to do some load development on the 185 gr XTP, I have 5 boxes of 100 from the rebate to load up. Hodgon lists 7.1-8.1gr of CFE pistol, probably stick around 7.3-7.5gr for my purposes, will know more once I load em up and test.

Just finished up loading .308's for the deer season that starts tomorrow. There is peace of mind and confidence going out with a hunting load that delivers 1/2 MOA groups. If it's brown...it's going down.

But I am an old softie...will not shoot a doe with a young one, or a young one. Do not need the meat that badly. And the guys I hunt with only shoot 8 pt or better unless the buck is a freak and needs to be thinned from the herd.

Loaded some wadcutters for the first time ever.i had maybe 10 rounds that wouldn't chamber. I'm learning the difference between the brass tolerances, as some have suggested here.
