I drilled out 10 on the base to lighten the wad a little. I went in 0.47" and that dropped off 52grs. I can't remember the size of drill I used. I will have to use 3" cases or shorten the wads. I loaded a few with 29gr longshot, win209, bp...

They used to be really cheap till about 4 years ago. They rezoned all the states so now they are not really worth it unless it is going to a state connected to your state. That right after they started letting you pay for it at the post office. At...

I will say, this pvc is not fun to turn. Imagine the hair or string wrapped around the brush in a vacuum cleaner roller brush. If the speed gets too fast it then gets little balls of melted pvc all over the shaft. It was cheap so that was why I went...

Going to try something different. Solid pvc tail wad. I turned them to 0.730"" x 0.75" long. Assembled with a #6x3/4" screw. I drilled the screw holes on the lathe to make sure they are centered. Assembled weight is 570gr +- 2grs. I am bored...

Wrong. Johnson line was discontinued not evenrude. The 2 strokes are the etec models and are still being made. Mercury has no carbon credits. They were buying them from Honda for a few years but if anyone has any it is Honda or Suzuki. They were 4...

Get used to it. Going to get much worse shortly. Especially when the people in power say the big cities have first chance at all goods because it would be more catastrophic to large cities than rural people.

A lead bullet is usually shorter than a copper jacketed bullet of equal weight. That is why the 70gr bullet stabilizes in Larrys 12 twist. You can't use the same bullet weight spin ratios that are meant for jacketed on cast. They are close but not...

Cycled fine. No leading. And no I did not do any with no checks. If the bullet was designed for a check then it shoots much better if the check is on it. I also feel any bullet over 1700fps benefits with a check on it.

The Mariner motors were Yamaha. Not tahatsu. There only a couple of motors they did this for. They were usually the commercial motors. They were the bare bones motors meant for hard use and no frills.

Look up " outboard making oil " it is a very common problem with 4 strokes. Especially if you break them in how they want you to. The rings never seat. That is why this happens. You have to break them in like you stole it and Don't care. Wide open...

I am getting 1.5" groups at 100yds with my AR 16" with a 1-7 twist at 2664fps. Probably better if I sorted the brass and sorted the bullets for defects. I have a 4'' steel plate at 200 yes I can hit every shot with it. 20.2gr imr4198. 65gr miha...

I may be wrong on the Yamaha 4 strokes as they are made now. A few years ago they were. Tahatsu has fuel injection down to the 9.9 model. I had a 15hp Suzuki that was fuel injected a couple years ago. That thing was crazy efficient on gas. ...

You are WRONG! The 4 strokes of the late 90's to early 2000's Suzuki made them for evenrude. Then around 2015 they have 8-15hp 4 strokes made by tahatsu.

There are swage dies meant for that slug but Lyman does not make them anymore. If you can find a set you will be paying major $$$$$ for it. And they still don't shoot all that well. ,
