vs two wraps okay. I'm thinking of trying to PP the 8mm max up to 357 for my 358win.

I have done three wraps, but, it was to get my size of .314. I was trying to get .314 with two and got .3137.
I wrapped to .318 with three, then sized down to .314.
Worked so well, I went up to the next size paper, I get .317 and size it to .314.
My sweet load.
Try it. If the rifleing cuts the paper, might just be your seet load.
docone31, I get about .005 +/- with 20# computer paper. What paper are you using that may be a bit thicker. I'm thinking after wetting and rolling I'll be a bit short of .357 after the paper stretches a bit. .357 is groove diameter on my 358 and I wouldn't mind an end product of around .359 or so
Thanks

When I wrap my .303 British with Meade Tracing paper, I get .3135. When I use computer paper, I get .318 with two wraps of computer paper.
I use either notebook paper, or 8 X 11 computer paper. It seems the inexpensive paper from the Dollar Store is the winner for me in the computer paper.
I get .004 per sheet.
Well, since the question has been asked, I would like to try wraping a core that is under bore size with three wraps just to see what happens. (See what you've started!)

3 will work. Maybe not as well as two, but that's splitting hairs.
I have danced with the Devil. She had excellent attorneys.
Another trick I have just discovered. Try wetting then freezing the paper. That seems to thicken it a bit.
