I may not look like a guy but I can shoot like one and outrun almost every guy I know.

I will say that you look a lot better then any guy. Now that I have seen the nice part, how about some pictures of you reloading set up, guns, boat, motor, etc. Welcome aboard MaureenO.
Nice picture Maureen. Do you cast?
"A gun in the hands of a bad man is a very dangerous thing. A gun in the hands of a good person is no danger to anyone except the bad guys." ~ Charlton Heston, 1997
Trust me, it's not rocket science... yea, they blow those up sometimes too but you can cast a boolit. I don't supose you roll your own ammo either? Well it will give you a better understanding of your firearms if you try it sometimes. Try it , you might like it...
Experience is the source of all knowledge.
You know what, I was thinking about your post for a few hours and I believe I WILL give reloading a try. I used to help my grandpa in Maine reload his rounds and I think I got the wadding down pretty well. But he was reloading shotgun shells and I was only 7.
My boat--I gave it up during my (amicable) divorce. I took the kids, he took the Bayliner. Now I fish from the pier but I've got some mighty fine catfish using KFC skin for bait. Yes, I do scale and gut them myself and get the pooper out, too.
I'm no Grizzley Adams, but I can hold my own if it comes to it. Otherwise, I'm just a regular, unglorious beat cop just doing a job the best I can.
I HAVE taught my youngest to always keep one in the pipe, though, and she's pretty good for a little kid. She comes through with some pretty impressive groupings.
I can surely see this is a man's board so I'll mainly educate myself by reading the posts here. I've still got 4 weeks of sick leave left to go and I'm gonna use that time well.
Thanks for having me and I'll do my best to stay out of your way.
Mo
I can understand why you need to be able to outrun most guys....

Maureen you are a quite beautiful woman. Im also sorry you were shot in the line of duty its such a shame all you hard working LEO's put youre lives on the line each and every day.
Thanks for doing such a good job, and thank God for bulletproof vests...
Welcome to cast boolit heaven Maureen! ..
Secretly, this is actually a forum controlled by women ...
Where you the LEO that our founder (45Nut) had recently spoke of that was ambushed and shot?
KFC is excellent fishing bait by the way.
Welcome aboard, Maureen, and thanks for your service!
We do have a contingent of women members here. Many evenings some of them can be found in chat! Joni Lynn, Alice, and Dawn are all fairly regular. Stop in sometime!
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!
Welcome, Mo!

On more than one forum, Canyon Ghost or Hunterspistol, it's just Ron the welder from Texas. Live in the grasslands and canyons, shoot my TCs.

Yes, sir, it really is!
