I took a regular 9mm reamer and reamed my CZ pistols.
The tightest CZ that I have though is actually a p07.
And that one looks melonated or surface hardened.
So can't do that one.
Instead I use it to gauge rounds.

The most accurate mold I've used is the RCBS 9MM-124-CN.
If it were a 6-cavity mold, I'd use it on all my 9mm pistols.
I've bought a second one with two cavities, and I use both molds simultaneously. Unfortunately, I can't reach the speed of the 8-cavity mold, so I use the 8-cavity molds for training and the RCBS molds for competition.

I believe the NOE 358-124-TC is a clone of that RCBS boolit, but I’m not 100% sure. I have the NOE mold and that boolit generally, for me, has poor accuracy. I’ve shot it in 9mm, .357 Sig, and .357 Mag with a variety of barrel lengths and powders. However, the last time I shot it through a 9mm with W231 powder - accuracy was surprisingly good.

I musta lucked out. I have 4 CZ’s. Three are in 9mm. The fourth is in .40S&W.

The matte stainless CZ-75 is the only one I bought brand new. The SP-01 and the Czechmate are used.

My usual OAL for 9mm is 1.15” to 1.17”. And they fit and function just fine in my Beretta 92’s

This is where I lucked out…

They ran just fine in the matte stainless and the Czechmate and the SP-01.

I normally run a 147 grain Hornady j-word bullet. That’s my number 1 pick.

My number 2 pick is the Hornady 124 grainer FMJ

But both those j-word bullets are running about 16 cents a piece. I think a full Steel Challenge match would require 195 rounds at a minimum. With primer, and powder that comes out to almost 45 bucks in ammo per full steel challenge mstch. I can see why .22LR has become so popular.

Maybe the previous owners got them reamed?

Before that I tried the Lee 125 2r (won't load at an appropriate length in any 9mm, probably better suited to revolvers)

I tried the Lee 147 grain and wasn't happy with that either

I use the 125 RF for cowboy action but I haven't fired any in a 9mm, only made dummy rounds

If I was going to do a Lee again, I'd probably try the 124 tumble lube, although I really prefer round nose for my one unramped 9mm 1911.

I would pay double the usual price for a Lee 147 or even 135 grain round nose/no lube groove mold. The only reason I haven't had them custom made is I'd need to buy about 10 of them to get them to make it, and I'm not sure I could find 8 other people to go in on it with me.

I tried the 125, figured, how different can it be? It never worked well in my CZ pistols. The 124 works perfectly. Shot some today out of the CZ P-10C Ported COA.

I have some of MP’s brass moulds that I bought 15 years ago.

One of those is a .359. I casted with it once about a month ago.

It still has the lube groove.

Let me try casting with it again here in a week or two.

I am currently swamped at work.

I really liked this aluminum 6 banger mould by Lee.

And normally in 9mm for IDPA and USPSA, I like the 147 grainer FMJ’s.
