The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!
89f, 71% humidity, heat index 104... BLECH
Mary, worse than BLECH! I just started tearing apart my broken down hay mower. Parked it under a shade tree, but its now 102, and not a breath of wind. I think I'm done for the day, and going to go find a cold beer!
Jon, you'll be glad to hear we set a record today with 2 days in a row the high was in the 70's in July. Plus 4.8" of rain too. I had water over the spillway on the pond dam for the first time in 6 months. The beavers are gonna have a time.

It is getting hotter here, but not like in the lower 48.
Right it's 86f with 65% humility.
If only the percentage of people with humility were at 65%, I'm sure it would be so much cooler.

There are a lot of tire treads everywhere, roads are hot enough to melt a tire.

I had almost forgotten that its' "Burning Winnebago Season" in the Southwest. We sold the House in Moapa (50 Miles North East of Las Vegas) two years ago. Used to be I would see 2 or so burning Winnebago's a week this time of year on I-15 going home (mornings were cool so less chances of over heated vehicles catching fire).
It is nice to complain about 92 to 95 degrees temps twice this week in Northwest Montana; as compared to complaining about 115 to 127 on the Thermometer at the Back of the House in Moapa Nevada almost every day this time of year.

I liked the Meterologist at the end of the video. As he said "It's not the first time we have had 100 degree temps in Texas". Nor in the rest of the country; most of the Weather and News guys would have you believe we have never had Hot weather before - Sweat happens.

The "low" here yesterday morning was 87 degrees. The low this morning was 87 degrees.
