Printed the bullet and case collator plates for .223 for my 3D printed collators I’m using with my Pro 6000 and APP presses. Should speed things along when I’m bulk loading plinking rounds for the AR.
Currently casting: 32 s&w, 38 s&w, 9mm, 45ACP Currently loading: 32 ACP, 32 s&w, 38 s&w, 40 s&w, 9mm, 45 ACP, 270 Win, .223 rem
I just received a set of Lee dies for my new .350 Legend.
I actually read the instructions to set them up.
I loaded twenty rounds today using 26.5 grs of H110, Sierra .355” 155 gr flatnose bullets, and CCI plain small rifle primers.
Cast bullet experimentation will come later!
I was surprised to see primer crimps- my Frankford Arsenal case prep machine took care of that!

I loaded up 10, 20ga hulls, with 80grs black powder and compressed news paper for week end noise makers.

I drug out my old Mec 12 gauge loader, blew it off with the compressor, oiled the parts that needed oil, and started to load some 1-1/8 ounce general purpose shells featuring 7-1/2 shot pushed by Red Dot.
I’m using Fiocchi hulls and Cheddite primers.

Size and lubricated about 250 Lyman 452374. Used one of my trusty Lyman 45's in my basement loading room ..... great way to spend an oppressively hot day.

I'm teaching a friend to reload 44-40 with blackpowder and will be selling him one of my Hollywood Senior Turrets and a HW powder measure. I was also hoping he would buy my extra HW Model "A", but he passed. I also prepped some 32-40 and 38-55 to load with blackpowder.

I 3D printed a microdisk-inspired charge bar for my Lee Autodisk powder dispenser. I'm very impressed with its accuracy. Exactly 3.0 grains of HP38 in every case.

I’m stripping the finish from a full size H&R Topper buttstock to replace the 490 Jr youth stock on my 7-30/20 gauge combo.

I designed and printed this tray to catch errant powder from my Lee Perfect powder measure and my Lee Autodisk dispenser. They're usually good at not leaking powder but ball powders like #9 and #5 always find a way out, and I hate wasting them and or messing up my bench.

Trimmed 150 3" 410 hulls to 2-1/2" hulls, skived the ID and loaded them.
5 boxes with the remnants of a current jug of 296. Last box, I used WWII surplus H110. The can is pre-zip code so I'm assuming it's surplus powder. There was a point where Hodgdon put "Newly Manufactured" on their cans. It doesn't have that on it.
Plan is to try them tomorrow. Hopefully.
If I can get someone to shoot skeet with me tomorrow before the blistering heat shows up.

Recently snagged a 2 hole Lyman 358429 mould that needed some love. Yesterday popped it into vise on the Bridgeport with an indexable 2.5" facemill and peeled .007" off the top. Found a new sprue plate in inventory, cleaned up the head of the hold down screw. Adjusted line up pin height...and made a new lock washer. Threw it in the mould oven for 15 minutes, pulled it out and blasted it with carb cleaner.
May not be quite good as new but it's dang close. Either today or tomorrow gonna run off a hundred or so and see how it does.
Not a specific room but related I received yesterday Lyman manuals 38th-44th editions plus a few other brands given me by a very generous individual. I spent part of today looking at them. Fascinating! So much the same and so much different! But they span 60-75 years ago. There will be MANY hours of enjoyment with these.

A firearm with an empty chamber is an expensive, fancy paperweight.
Prepped 17 cases for fireforming tomorrow. If it works well, I will do the other 20 cases

We used to give 9mm's to the women and kids. Now that everybody is running 9mm's as their primary, maybe we need to give the women and kids .32's so we can keep feeling manly.-Bigslug

Got the chronograph out at club #3 today. Was amazed at the similar results between WWII vintage powder and current powder.
145 and 183 from the old powder, 143 and 180 from the new powder. Granted it was only two shots with each, but it's good enough for the kinda girls I go with.
This was 1 grain below the current Lyman shotgun book for as close as I can guess what the hulls are.
I was given 850, 3" hulls of a brand I had never heard of before. The buddy who had bought them had not heard of them before either.
~850 FPS for 5/8 #9's. He missed the 850 FPS part when he ordered them online. Station 1, 7, and 8 were not a problem, station 2 and 6 were challenging. Station 3, 4, and 5 were a waste of lead.
He's still got a dozen plus boxes to burn off on 1, 7, and 8. He's saving the hulls for me to reload. I think the majority will be next winter's blizzard project.
