When you push the handle back down, it cuts the squirt off and ejects the finished bullet. I don't have any build up of lead in the Ram, if I remember to line up the holes.
I stand corrected. I double checked (should have done that first) and the earlier CH Swag-O-Matic and Herters dies both have the side squirt holes, it wasn't until both CH and Herters made the reloading press dies that they put the squirt holes in the nose punch. I just disremembered. I have done that before. Thanks for the correction.

That just goes to show, you should check twice and post once, not the other way around.

    Ajax111 is right.

(At least I didn't have to say my wife was right, again.)

Corbins.com sent me an email advertising 50% off all their clearance items as a 4th of July Sale. I don't know if it is for existing customers only, or if it includes new customers also. The code they gave didn't work, but I called them up and told them all the items in my cart and they gave me the 50% discount. I picked up a 224 ULD PF die, a 458 RBT die set, a 429 TC PF die, and a 308 FMJ punch, all for about $500. Good deal. They say the sale expires in about 5 more days.

Remember, with the Corbins Walnut Hill conversion kit, you can use Corbin S dies and Corbin M dies on you RCE press.

Also, you can use Corbin H, S, and M external punch holders (and therefore H, S, and M external punches) in RCE presses.

    For example:
My 308 dies are RCE, but I can use the 308 FMJ H punch on my RCE press, with the Corbins H punch holder mounted in the RCE press. I also have H presses, but that is beside the point. I can use the punch in either RCE or Corbins presses. I can also use the 308 FMJ punch to close up jackets other calibers of bullets as well.

    Good things to remember.

Sounds about right. Yes, they will send a quote back with the items you list.
I still asked why the website will not accept the discount code, didn't get an answer back.

It's a good discount if you can find what you really need.

Lots of Corbin stuff on Fleabay right now (relatively speaking)
    224 R dies
oddball 569 and 448 and other caliber swage die sets.
    Cannelure tool
    Core cutter, magnum I think.

    ... and ...
    ... wait for it ...

A Corbin H press, the ole Mega-Mite press, new in the box. Opening bid is near new price, but you can make an offer. Note shipping in kind of steep. You don't see one of those on the used market everyday.

Rolltide999 Thanks for that. I picked up a RCE conversion. I'm eyeing the mega mite. But, 1800, yeah, that's steep. Over 2k when shipped. I'm sitting on a passel of loose H dies, but for 2k, I'm pretty sure the local machinist might take the job.

Me also, i dont have any pacific presses. I don't know enough about it as this is the first pacific swage kit i've seen.

The pictures dont really shoe me enough detail to guess.
