Do you seat and crimp in the front grease groove or over the front driving band as this boolit has no crimp groove?

Lyman normally advises a light crimp over the front driving band in the absence of a crimp groove.

I have a 1894CL and shoot an RCBS 115gr. FN with 12.0 grains of H110. I don't know if the mold is even made any more. I cast them out of COWW with 2% tin and size .313" I have killed some deer with it and a hog. This is a stout load and I only use it in the Marlin and my Ruger Buckeye Blackhawk.

My .32-20 loads are all using Arsenal molds 311124 which is their version of Lyman's 311008. I don't have a Marlin I've a Stevens model 44 in .32-20 which is a great shooter but doesn't quite have the Marlin's strength. My loads are as follows.

Trail boss 2.8 grs gives 830 fps and sounds like a .22 short a nice accurate load to about 100 yds.

Unique 4.5 grs gives about 1230 fps and does pretty good at 100 yds.

Reloader 7 13.5 grs not sure about the speed but it does pretty good out to 200 meters at the ram bash gong matches.

IMR 4227 9.5 grs not sure about the speed on this one either but it's just like the reloader 7 load at long range.

In 32 WCF I use W231 and a 100 grain powder coated semi wadcutter. Very accurate and very few unburned powder flakes. I have loaded some using Dupont 4227 and it is very accurate but there is lots of unburned powder so I don't do that any more.

4227 is better suited for rifle loads in .32-20.
Use Bullseye, TiteGroup, 231, WST, Unique for revolver loads.

I've had great luck with an MP 312640 over 8.0 gr. 2400. Tremendously accurate in my custom Browning low-wall.
