    C-H Case Trimmer dies

Hi. I have an old C-H case trimmer and wondered if there is a chart out there somewhere showing what the different lettered dies are used for bullet sizes?

CH & LE Wilson trimmers & case holders are essentially the same.
    I have a chart, but I don't remember where I got it.

Thanks for the info. That begs another question which is do both companies use the same identification method for their dies?

So I called CH and found they do not have charts, but they do have a website which if you look up caliber on, will enable one to search for case holders by caliber, OR one can input the letter of the case holders, and the browser will show what calibers that case holder will fit. The caveat is the word “group” can either mean the die ID, or the price group with CH. Apparently CH no longer uses the word “group” on their dies for this very reason. Whew .

Go to this website --- https://chtoolanddie.com/calibers/list

For Name choose case holder. Go to the right box and enter the LETTER of the specific Case holder and it will return all the cartridges that can be used in that die. Don't be surprised, if you start looking for a specific caliber, you may not find a Case Holder available.

I always tried to deal with one of their retail dealers that spoke CH. They understand CH but, unfortunately the shell holder and trimmer die case holders get confusing unless you speak CH. One fellow came from PA with a bunch of CH pieces and parts, to our matches, I just told him what I wanted in plain English, he either had it or ordered it to be sent to my door.

Like buying a chamber plug, many plugs fit many different cases, some only fit one case.
