So jealous! I wanted something like that for my camping gun to pair with my 10mm Glock, but WA has banned everything cool.

So I ordered the new Marlin 1894 Trapper 10mm lever gun...

Was swapping tall tales with buddies at gun club #2 when a long time member came in with a flier listing several guns.

He brought one of the guns in to the club and before i could say I'd take it, another guy said he'd be back in 10 minutes with the cash. A very nice Remington 396 skeet gun with an absolutely gorgeous stock and forearm. And a full set of Briley sug-gauge tubes and a fitted case for the whole kit. $800. Bummer.

Further down the list was a Kimber Model 82 that had belonged to his son. I asked him if the original peep sights came with it because I knew Jeff had shot the rifle with a scope. Yes it had the original sights plus Jeff had upgraded the peep sights with far better inserts, front and rear. For $500, a pretty good deal, don't need a second Model 82, I've already got one, plus a Model 52D. A very good deal but I still didn't need a second Model 82.

Then he said it had a scope also, a 20X max variable. I asked if it was Jeff's 6.5x20 Leopold. Yup. Extended focus range and target turrets.

Had to make a trip out to the truck to raid the double secret gun fund.

    It followed me home.

I'm hoping the 4 barrel set Remington Model 3200 skeet is sold before I see Herb again. $2500 for a pristine skeet set is HARD to walk away from.

I could explain a new(to me) 22 rifle with a $1000 scope to the wife, not sure I can do the same with a $2500 shotgun.....

"But it's four guns in one, dear!"

Don't see her buying that line.

Nothing wrong with that lever gun, and in 10mm. If I hadn't just bought another AR-10 I might just go buy one. Gotta wait until Spring.

I stopped telling my wife about new firearms, one day she will notice how full the safe is and I'll be in trouble.

It wasn't sold when I got back to the club today.

    It is now.

And the two gun safes are past over flowing.

And for the record, it shoots as well @ sporting clays as it does skeet(maybe better!)

Well I have been a bit slow in reporting my purchases so my apologies.

Early October I purchased a Hunt Firearms MX4 12 gauge shotgun. It is a clone of the Benelli M4 shotgun. Most of the parts that matter are inter changeable with the Benelli M4 parts. The Hunt version I bought cost $2,800Cdn less than a new original M4 that I once owned. The Hunt Version costs 1/6th and to date operates exactly the same. The firearm is made in Turkey. $499. Cdn

I just purchased a new Chiappa Double Little Badger 22LR/410 Shotgun to shoot Grouse up here. I'll add pictures when the Chiappa shows up in two weeks or less. $489.99 Cdn.

    Both guns were on sale.

Since the purchase of the MX4 I bought a Full Choke for the gun. I thought I would try it shooting Trap. There are not many zombies to nail to the fence so trap will be my likely target to test the gun. The gun will accompany me when I travel up here loaded with 3" Slugs. Being chased by Black Bears at our road side rest areas is something you want to experience with a 12 gauge or Bear Spray you choose which protection you want. It doubles as a bedroom greeter.

    Take Care

    I guess this includes trading??

Picked up a Glock 19.5 MOS blue label new, then a week later bought a barely used Glock 17.5
Week after that I traded a revolver for a Glock 19.5 (non-mos) and a Holosun SCS MOS optic
Because I was working a trade on a Glock 45 MOS which went thru.
So I am Glock rich right now.
I plan to get rid of the non-mos 19.5 as I think I can get $450 for it as it is almost new.
Keeping the rest. The 17.5 is a duplicate as I already own a 17m but I want to keep it new so my son will blast away with the regular 17

Its not that I am getting on the Glock bandwagon as much as I am starting to switch stuff over to 9mm and the Glock is a great platform. You either love them or hate them.

The MOS guns have Holosun SCS mos optics on them. They are nice as you can cowitness with the factory height sites.

Colt Officers Model .38 Special, manufactured in 1950. Excellent condition, tighter than Dick’s hatband, superbly accurate <2” groups at 25 yards. Just a wonderful old (75 years) handgun.
I stole it for $400 at a yard sale.

My brother arrived from Montana to winter in Texas- and brought me a rifle.
It’s an H&R 1871 Buffalo Classic Talo Edition Golden Buffalo 45-70.
It was used by a rancher up there- so it’s got some character marks….,
It came with three boxes of Hornady 325gr FTX ammo- but that stuff is No Fun- so I loaded some 340 gr Lee bullets over Unique and tried it out at 40 yards.
    It is fun now!

    Ruger-10-22-Carbine-31239 model.jpgFound an unfired new-in-the-box 10/22 for just $250 through a local guy,...you know,...it was like a sad puppy. I couldn't just leave it there.

I have entered the Martini world with a .357 project rifle. It needs sights and cosmetic work but works fine- so a labor of love.

    CAUTION! They are addictive!
Rights, and Privileges, are not synonymous. We have the Right to Bear Arms. As soon as the Government mandates firearm registration, and permiting, then that Right becomes a Privilege, and may be taken away at our Master's discretion.

Another CVA Scout TD, this one in 450 Bushmaster. Tired of hunting for brass, though, this is big enough to find.

I picked this one up today - it's a S&W 44 target. The guy who sold it to me said it was unfired so the first thing I did was take it to the range,
