I use 1/2 teaspoon in my Lyman tumbler.
That is plenty for a mirror finish.
Oh yeah, and dawn.

I've played with citric acid ratios in my Frankford wet tumbler. The more you use the more of a dull look the cases will have. The best solution I have mixed up so far is 2 parts Wash n Wax (turtle wax currently) and 1 part Zep citrus degreaser for the wet soap, and I use about 3 table spoons full off that mix, and then 1/4 teaspoon of citric acid (I use lemishine) in the number. you can let it run for up to the full 3 hours and the brass comes out sparkling.
I just started playing with Zep 4358 but need to figure out the right ratios. I don't know why I'm bothering with the dry sap, the liquid solution I've been using works so good.
I’ll have to check but I don’t think it’s that much, basically whatever pistol brass I’m cleaning is what I use. So a case of 9mm or 10mm etc etc gets added, if I’m cleaning rifle brass I just use whatever pistol case is on the bench.
I honestly think the SS pins do the bulk of the work anyway, I’ve run batches with only water, soap and pins. Or just water and pins and cases come out looking new, these are cases that aren’t filthy or tarnished mind you.
For sure, it doesn’t take much that’s for sure. Same with soap, I don’t have a laundry sink and am on a septic system so I rinse into pails which I then dump away from the well etc etc. I’ve got it down to the minimum soap needed to clean well but not take too much rinsing to get rid of the leftover suds.
