I’m looking to hear from folks who fixed their Glock barrel leading by switching to PC. I recently picked up a G10, sized my virgin Starline brass with a 0.4013” expander, boolits were 0.4015”, alloy was water dropped COWW +2% SN and maybe 0.2% Cu. Lube is FWFL. I shot 5 rounds of the 200 gr RCBS SWC and 5 rounds of the Saeco 200 gr TC boolit. I used the starting charge of 7.2 gr True Blue for both boolits, and Lyman’s Cast Handbook #4 says these should be moving at 1,084 fps from a 5” barrel (I have a 6” barrel). Cleaning the barrel afterwards and this is the worst leading I have ever seen in a barrel, and it does not want to come out. I’m soaking it in Hoppes #9 for the night.

So maybe I buy a Bar-Sto 9x25 Dillon barrel, or maybe I start swaging 9mm brass into 10mm bullets, or maybe I get into PC.

For the folks who have been here and fixed with PC - what thoughts or recommendations do you have? Thanks in advance.
