Hodgdon has load data for 38 Special and 38 Special +P, 105 gr CEB Raptor bullet only. Agree with Ford.

You can search "Speer Load Data" for handguns on line. Speer gives data for 38 Spl, 158 gr. Lead using WSF 3.8 gr. ~ 4.3 gr. I can verify that WSF 4.2 gr. under a de-horned Lyman 358156 in a 38 Spl case is a nice combination. I've seen no data and have not tried WSF for .357.

WSF is my go-to for 40 SW.

I dont but wsf is basically spherical unique. My fav for full power 9 & 40. If you use midrange unique data & work it up, you should be fine.

Why not? Just because there is no data doesnt mean you cant develop good safe ammo. I have been using WST in 9, 40 & 45 for over 14y, pretty much no data.

    Thanks for the replies,
I was looking on the internet for WSF load data in .357 mag and ran across an older reference to castboolits. So i checked it and it stated that WSF tracked Herco powder. I also read on castboolits that Herco tracked SR4756. This was by Felix, I THINK.
So, is one correct or neither ?????
    Thanks,
    James

WSF there some limited data for the special but there are other powers that give better results

for instance there is WSF data for 45acp but i would rather use 231 or WST

go to powder for 9mm is WSF

I have used WSF in 45 Colt and reduced cast bullet loads in 308 Win. and it worked fine. Jedman

IME WSF tracks Herco or basically a slow Unique.
