    Paradox slugs!

I am excited to work up loads for these bad boys! Casted out of wheel weight hard alloy with a little copper added.

1st group on left at 50 yards before red dot sight adjustment. The bottom three was after adjustment on that target. The next picture has the first three shots just above target to the left. I adjusted the sight again and the next three shot group is just above and to the right.
Win 572 powder, Goodell stem wad, Svarog Pardox slug powder coated in Remington STS 2 3/4” hulls roll crimped

Pretty darn accurate for 581 grain slugs!!!

Smooth bore or rifled? The smoothbore groups generally open up considerably at 75. Nice looking slug/wad combo.

I want to know how you added copper to the mix---in my melting pot, it all just floats to the top!

I added copper by trying a bunch of methods from this forum. The copper sulphate was a fail. Copper powder was a fail. I used 20’ thin copper stranded wire dissolved in a 70% tin Babbitt bar from Roto metals. Once that is done, you can mix small ingots into your wheel weight or soft lead alloy. I have some pictures posted under the copper alloy sticky thread under the lead alloy section.
