I have a box of 165 gr RNFP from Better Bullets and want to try them in my 03a3 they will be used for target only at 100 yds and mostly from the bench.
looking for a light but accurate load.

Some loads I have used in my 03's with 177 gr. cast bullets.....
700x 10 grs.
R-Dot, G-Dot, Unique, Herco 12 grs.
2400 or VV N110 17 grs.
AA5744 or Buffalo Rifle 19 grs
All of these powders have shot well for me, but may be hard too find, except the VihtaVouhri powders. If you can find an old trap shooter, you might talk him out of some of those shotgun powders for some cheap and fun shooting.
I have used IMR 4064 46.0gr. in mine with the 165 spire point bullet with good results.
If those are PB'd cast bullets then Gewehr-Guy's loads of 700x 10 grs. R-Dot, G-Dot, Unique, Herco 12 grs. are spot on with 10 gr Bullseye added to the list.

If gas checked, I like 31 grains of 3031.
Had used 16 grains of 2400 for years, the 3031 just shoots better.
