I washed a batch of RWS 22lr brass, for making jackets. While De-riming it didn't have much priming compound left the cases. Which is different than I'm used to. Even with 3 hours of wet tumbling with ss pins, with American cases I have some.
On this run, it was almost non-existent.
Is this normal?
GONRA's just a "tinker-er / fool-arounder" but saved all my
1960's era Lapua .22 LR COPPER fired cases waaaay back.
Made great 7mm Nambu, etc. ... bullet jackets for my purposes.
Guess I need to continue saving the match brass as I shoot it. With a single shot rifle it's easy. One comes out of the rifle and in the box, fresh round in the rifle, repeat.
When I get a small flat rate box worth I'll post in S&S, let you bullet swagers experiment with "match grade" jackets.
That sir is both a fantastic idea and a hand rubbing mad scientist toe bouncing waiting for it idea
