I like old silverware boxes. Most are well made, and it's easy to remove the innards and remake into what I like.
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!

Many years ago, there was a member on a cap and ball BP forum who made cases. He went by the name Snaggletooth. He was a former Marine with woodworking talent. He made this case for my 1851 Colt and never charged me a penny, not even for shipping.
    Anyone remember Snaggletooth?
