Cast some 356242 for 9mm. Stopped when the old body wasn't having fun anymore.
Locked the door and handed my wife the key. You see I have to take some weird drug today for a procedure and its going to make me loopy. They claim I will not remember the day. Last thing I want is to stroll in the room and load up a few rounds not having a clue. See you guys tomorrow. God willing.
Stop being blinded by your own ignorance.
Switched my square deal from 9mm to .45acp.
After it was all adjusted I loaded a hundred
Cast 250 of these from a single cavity Lee mould
Broke down some factory .38 super a buddy bought by mistake. Turned it into 9mm and a box of .38 super brass.
Loaded up test load #2 for the new 6.5 Creedmoor. First load shot six into a nice 1/2" group @ a hundred yards.
With primers that looked like they had been hit with a 2 pound hammer. No heavy bolt lift, but the 22-250 donor brass certainly was fully formed.
And it was supposed to be a starting load.
Casting day.
14.9kg of bullets, 0.8kg of them shortened Lee 311-100-2R.
Rest ca. equal numbers of Mihec 432-256 (244gr) .44 and 358-429 (155gr) .357 Keith swc bullets.
Used 50% range scrap lead and 50% linotype.
Loading some .44 special rounds . Light target loads 185gr. T/C and American Select powder .
Keep your powder dry and watch your six !!
Today, 2 1/2 weeks after major neck surgery I sized some 405 gn, 45-70 bullets that I had cast a few days before surgery. Feels good to finally get to do a little "light" something. About 3 more weeks and hopefully will be good to get out and do some shooting.

Time to size the bullets I cast yesterday.
I ordered heater cartridge and temperature controller just before Christmas and received them late January.
Cheap shipping from China to Finland takes a while.
Finally got around making the heated base plate for my LAMII.
But how hot should it be? Just enought to soften the lubricant or some specific temperature?
Resized 600 .32 115gr. boolits to .3105" for my Blackhawk 30 Carbine.
If you are going to make a hole in something. MAKE IT A BIG ONE!
Started washing and sorting 6 - 1gallon bags of 22rf cases to make 22 cal jackets. If my figures are right, a little over 34,000 cases.
It may take a little longer then I had planned.
Finished resizing batch of 500 fired 5.7x28 brass. My Lee shell holder for 25 ACP turned out to be very sloppy for this cartridge, so ordered RCBS one, which fits perfect.
Hornady dies, imperial sizing die wax worked great. In this batch - 4 cases with neck separation and one with fused primer (this one will be used for trim setup).
