No thanks for me.
But if it sells, what do I know?
I was hoping Ruger would have the decency to not turn Marlin tactical, but I guess that's what the masses want. Well, as long as they offer the traditional rifles at the same time, I guess it won't hurt.
Not my thing, but very glad to see Ruglin is adding more models. If it gets more people interested in lever actions that is a positive thing.

One potential negative is that more people are buying lever actions for home protection because they are "below the radar" of the gun grabbers who are focused on the semi-autos for now. Up until recently most lever actions looked like Grandpa's deer gun so nobody was threatened by them. There are bunches of videos on You Tube and forums such as this one talking about this and the gun grabbers see both. If you start making lever actions look like military guns and make them more appealing to the fringe element shooters who wear full camo to gun shows, that may cause the gun grabbers to start thinking about how we don't need them either.
The antigun people want 100% ban. They will never stop or give up until they achieve their goal.
While I would not go out a purchase one if I won one in a raffle, I won't sell it either.

In .45-70, it would make a superb back-up gun for all but the largest dangerous game. I'd want something more powerful for shutting down an enraged rhino. For smaller species of dangerous animals, however, it would combine sufficient power with fast handling and repeat shots.

I’ll admit I like it. Like the adjustable comb for scope use, and the lack of a barrel band should mean easier accuracy. Threaded barrel doesn’t mean anything to me one way or the other. That 336 as a 38-55 would be the ticket for me.

I like it……calibers-I like the 35Rem.
Not for me...
The older I get the less psuedo tactical firearms appeal to me.
While I have one AR and a couple of SKS rifles, my focus is wood and blued steel bolt actions and lever actions, revolvers and 1911s with a nickel plated or stainless handgun here and there
Don't believe I will be buying any more tactical ARs and certainly not a "tactical" lever action rifle.
If it shoots, I’d take one. All my levers are wood and blued steel. They’re beautiful. And I have a really hard time if or when they get a mark. With my plastic stocked rifles, I need not worry near as much.
Behold!!
Just when you thought putting a scope on a lever action the ugliest modification you could do to one..........

OK People. Enough of this idle chit-chat.

Back to your oars. The Captain wants to waterski.
At least they are selling them to folks. Not my taste but the more gun owners the better.
This is the future gentlemen.......not mine for sure. Still, they will sell like hotcakes.

He smiled. “Men do not learn from history. Each generation believes itself brighter than the last, each believes it can survive the mistakes of the older ones. Each discovers each old thing and they throw up their hands and say ‘See! Look what I have found! Look upon what I know!’ And each believes it is something new.

I won't be in the market for this mess either. P.U.
About as attractive as a flintlock with a Kevlar stock.
But there is no accounting for taste, is there?
My son wants the Henry that is similar!
Not my cup of coffee!
Not my cup of tea. I prefer blued steel and walnut stocks on lever actions.
Of course, I already have my Marlins in .30-30 and .35 Remington, so I 'm not really the target market for this thing anyway.

LOL… I am about as Non tactical as they get, but I kinda like it… perfect for SE Alaska rain forest and salt water. If I had a pile of cash, I would prolly get one..
Any technology not understood, can seem like Magic!!!
I will love the Lord with all my heart, all my soul, and all my mind.
