I watch a lot of the History Guy's channel.
He's like the History teacher you WISH you had in High School or college.
In school: We learn lessons, and are given tests.
In life: We are given tests, and learn lessons.
OK People. Enough of this idle chit-chat.

We used to use it in USN damage control school to stop leak in high pressure air system, amazing what a few wraps will do!

Those of you old enough, with farm background, know part of it's success was due to the loss of bailing wire!!!!!
100mph tape.. well 160mph tape in my case... used it more than once to patch the body of the drag car when a fastener failed... Taped the hood on for one run!
Many cars are put together with automotive tape now. I keep a roll of aircraft tape in the camper for emergencies.
The solid soft lead bullet is undoubtably the best and most satisfactory expanding bullet that has ever been designed. It invariably mushrooms perfectly, and never breaks up. With the metal base that is essential for velocities of 2000 f.s. and upwards to protect the naked base, these metal-based soft lead bullets are splendid.

Forget everything you know about loading jacketed bullets. This is a whole new ball game!
Most informative. More information than I knew...or wanted to know. That it "works" for the applications in which I use it, is sufficient for me. Heat and the "duct tape" adhesive are incompatible. Duct tape adhesive breaks down over time and the "duck" backing does not "weather" well. Moisture, and shrink/swell from dynamic heating and cooling (dawn to dawn), are the bane of duck tape.
If it was easy, anybody could do it.
