So the formula for Remoil has changed so drastically that to call what they make today “Remoil” is false advertisement. I’m wondering if anybody knows of something that was similar to the version that had Teflon in it (purchased around 2015.)

The main thing I like about the old version is that the oil was so thin that one drop would spread out and cover the entire surface of whatever you just oiled.

The next thing I like about it is that I can coat an iron mold with it immediately after I finish casting, and then simply wipe the cavities with a q-tip dipped in isopropyl alcohol before I cast the next time.

I imagine Kroil will come up - is that stuff very thin?
