Raining here today but going to 56 tomorrow, so I will be casting tomorrow.
NAw CatKiller45 you just need to get bigger pot to cast from
I feel your pain. Been that way all month here. Just to cold.
Stop being blinded by your own ignorance.
-12 would be too cold for me too! Winter will be over, sooner or later.
-6 here. I cast in the cellar next to my coal stove. Hang a pot in the stove and all the fumes from smelting go up the chimney. Then pour into my PID controlled electric pot have have at it. Nice & warm.
I'm huddled indoors at only 35° today. But fortunately I have a big pile of already cast boolits. Spring isn't far away. Hang in there!!
KE4GWE - - - - - - Colt 1860, it just feels right.
Yup, pretty cool here too, +1.6*F. I've got plenty of boolits in my stockpile, so no worries there!
You guys in the colder ares, take a look at this:

I bought one of these some years back, works pretty good! I cast in what was a garden shed about 6' x 8'. Even on low, this thing supplies all the heat I need to cast in winter.

There is hope.
Every day--- We're getting closer to Summer, not farther away from it.

In life: We are given tests, and learn lessons.
OK People. Enough of this idle chit-chat.
This ain't your Grandma's sewing circle.
EVERYONE!
Back to your oars. The Captain wants to waterski.
I can dress up and do some as long as there’s not a lot of wind. In the summer I usually stop because my wrist gets tired. When it is cold, it’s always my cold feet that force me to stop. I wish I still had a pair of bunny boots, even if just for casting.

My garage was a tad cool, but I stayed with it. Ended up casting about a few hundred 158 grain RF for the 38/357 and some 230 grain 45’s.

Too cold to cast here too, but a few years ago when my Lee Bator 6 cavity mold arrived around this time I did go out to do some casting. Took a long while to get that mold up to casting temperature!
I've just got a new Accurate mold, and my birthday purchase from NOE is still waiting from last month. It has to be at least 50 before it is casting weather in my garage. Looks like they'll be waiting for next month, though today was pretty nice.

The dungeon was a pleasant 65 even with the exhaust fan running full out .
