Yep, one man's junk is another man's treasure. There are some good buys out there, if you know what you're looking for.
After a shooting spree, they always want to take the guns away from the people who didn't do it. - William S. Burroughs.
Congratulations !!! I think the flatlanders call it upcycling.
if the flat pan is teflon/non-stick coated, and it looks like it is, do not heat it to high temps (above a couple hundred degrees).
at higher temps it will give off very toxic gases.
google it if you dont believe me.
The thrift store came through for me. Picked up a whole ream of onionskin paper for patching bullets for less than a dollar. Gotta like that!

I went into our local Goodwill last weekend and found a pewter tankard for $1. I was tickled!
All I found at the thrift store yesterday was an old Wagner 10" cast iron skillet for $4.
I picked up 35 pounds of #8 shot for $5.00. With my $1/lb. powder and $10/brick primers at an auction, was loading for less than a dollar/box. Made one mistake though. Passed up a 20 gage MEC Jr. for $10 because I didn't own a 20 gage. Two months later, I did.
The only amendment the Democrats support is the 5th.
I spotted something behind the tellers on the fancy shelfs at the thrift store. It wasnt a couple bucks but was an Adco red dot. Made in Japan and a great scope. Its on my WM 10/22 SS carbine and really shoots.
My Kimball Baby Grand came from a Habitat thrift store. Love it, the nicest piano I’ve ever owned. I found some shepherd hook plant hangers and hung some of my 1/3 size sass marshals on them, they work fine. Lead cas loads only.
Hey Baltimoreed, where did you get 1/3 size SASS Marshall targets? Are they available through SASS? I'm not a member (I was doing Cowboy Fast Draw instead) but I'd love to have some additional novelty targets. I did get five little "rubber ducky" cut outs, and those shepherd hooks would be good for hanging them as well. Interesting reactive targets make teaching younger shooters a lot more encouraging for them.

we sure were sold a bill of goods with teflon, as bad if not worst than lead poisoning.
