My father picked up this handsome big iron! Bought from a feller he works with that purchased it new. Story goes he shot it once, cleaned it, and put it back in the case and into the closet. He tells my dad about it and offers to sell it plus a couple boxes of ammo. Sold!
A 5.5" new-model Blackhawk in .45 Colt, produced in 2005, for $600 and I believe its story. The gun is nearly spotless, not even the bluing is touched from the cylinder gap, no flame cut. It is absolutely a new gun. The only thing it has against it is a light turn mark on cylinder. Its been fondled more that it was shot. May buy it off my dad if he decides to sell it but im welcome to shoot it as is. Good excuse to dig out my .45 Colt supplies and do some load development for it. I don't think he stole it but a decent price + the ammo with it. I like the Blackhawks, nice piece of iron!
