I have been working on a husqvarna 146 that was missing it’s sights when it came to me.
I have grown tired of waiting in the back ordered NECG from midway.
Today I got the wild hair to try making it myself.
I started with some plain cold rolled 1”x1/8” steel strap and some rough measurements. After cutting the base and the leaf I silver soldered the leaf to the base
Next I leveled the top of the leaf side to side and cleaned up the excess silver solder.
After this I set the dovetail width and then the side to side width of the sight and set the center line. The side angles don’t look very even but it’s just the angle of the photo to catch the start of the center line.
Then I set the notch in the back and deepened the center line.
Will blue after regulating it after load work up.
