Thanks for starting this thread, I’m very glad to see this being addressed. I have had some issues with getting coating, and previously asked for info. I was essentially told that the bullets needed to stay “surgically” clean....no quenching from mold, wear gloves, ect. I thought this was a bit much......but hey, I’m a newbee at powder coating! I was also told that perhaps I didn’t have enough static charge and should use the plastic bb’s.....this I was quite receptive to. Even though I powder coat on low humidity days, less than 35%, I will continue to use the bb’s as a static enhancer! memtb
Oh come on.... roll them in some shredded late-night Georgia ballot dust.For the torture test I covered the bullets in saliva, rolled them in a pile of drywall dust,
rolled them in a pile of crud underneath my reloading bench that included spilled gun
powder, dog fur, dead bugs, and anything else that has accumulated ....
Nothing seems to stick to that.
