Is there no forum here for selling items that are not hunting/fishing/shooting/reloading related?
Like trucks?
Is it too much a stretch to say that a 4WD pickup IS hunting related?

Seems like Graybeard has or had one for that sort of off topic stuff.

OK People. Enough of this idle chit-chat.
This ain't your Grandma's sewing circle.
EVERYONE!
Back to your oars. The Captain wants to waterski.
I asked specifically about knives and was told no. I consider knives to be hunting related personally.
No trucks either. Here is what is allowed.
Hunting related is very narrowly interpreted as Bazoo explained. My thought is that if the hunting related item supports the guns, casting, shooting then it will probably be allowed. i.e. powder horns, slings, primer catchers, & mold handles.Gun / Casting / Shooting / Hunting Related Items Only.

I was hoping to find someone close to me who is wanting to sell a truck. I need to buy one.
Look on autotrader.com or craigslist if you but have it checked out by a mechanic.
I have no issue with a forum restricting topics to those related to its title. There is a forum available on the internet that covers almost every interest.

if you are a team boolit member on here you can do non hunting and shooting stuff there, but it can only be viewed by other team boolit members.
if you are ever being chased by a taxidermist, don't play dead
The Facebook market place has largely displaced Craigslist and such. I just sold a non running truck for my asking price to the first guy who came and looked at it. Pretty easy way to buy and sell, just be careful like you would buying anything of Craigslist or a classified ad.
I don't do Facebook for privacy reasons. Can't stand the guy who called everyone F'word stupid for giving him all of their info. And now they are censoring conservative points of view, so it will be a cold day in the hot spot before I ever use Facebook.
I've been scouring Cargurus.com, Carmax.com, Autotrader, Craigslist. Thought I'd rather buy from a like minded person who needs to sell one. Guess I'll end up buying from some dealer and trade my old Tacoma.
I don't have a problem with a narrow/limited scope of things that can be bought or sold .
There is another site that I'm a member of , very few if any limitations on what can be bought , sold , traded and now on this site , click on "new Posts" and 75% of them are classified threads ....nothing but buying and selling going on...they need to call it a "Flea Market" .
Hey ...that's just me .

Say what you will, I haven't had any problems with it and there are an awful lot of conservative points of view being discussed on it including quite a few casting and reloading pages. I've also bought reloading equipment off the facebook classifieds, so not sure where you're getting that.
A few years ago, they even allowed gun sales, I bought a shotgun from a local who had it advertised.
It's all over conservative talk radio and the Internet. Just one example below:
Facebook Censors President Trump on Virus 'Disinformation'

In addition, without too many details, there are reasons for people who have security clearances to just stay off of social media. So I did.

I had a TS SCI until I retired, never an issue, but keep believing the delusional paranoia.
Dolf is correct here. Plenty of cases where DoD-cleared individuals shared info, sometimes even unclassified info, on the ‘net and had their clearances revoked. Remember the sailor who snapped a pic aboard a Navy submarine? There were no obvious details in the photo that would be considered a breach of security protocols, he got hammered because no pics are allowed while onboard without prior approval. Second thing he did wrong was post it to social media.
OPSEC is taken very seriously by the Pentagon. You will be looking for work elsewhere in short order and banned for life from DoD work. Obviously not ideal when you have a family and a mortgage that depends primarily on your income.
