Started 3 miles east of Maybee*, 36 years ago moved 6 miles east and 3 miles north of Maybee.
But during those 36 years I've been to 44 states, working in 33 of them plus a couple of Canadian provinces, Mexico, Puerto Rico and China.
It's been a long strange trip
Especially back in the day when I was flying out to a different customer every week.
A couple of times I got up in the middle of the night to look at the airplane ticket to figure out where I was.
*Named after Abraham Maybee in 1873, still have the beard I started in 1973, to raise money for the centennial celebration you had to buy a shaving permit or raise a beard. If you got caught without a permit and clean shaven you were subject to mock arrest. To get out of "jail" you had pay a fine.

Oklahoman all my life. North central part of the state is where we spent many years farming, have land there still, but retired in the northeast part of the state where our kids are.
West Virginia, just a couple of miles from the Ohio border.
