Powder coated a 10 pound ingot mold John Deer green. Then cast a 10lb ingot of soww. That big ingot just fell right out as soon as I turned the mold over.
I painted my boringly black AR-15 7.62 by 39 mm. I had best not leave it laying in the summer grass or I may never find it!

Started the clean up and tune up of a buddy's Mec 9000G press. About every three years he gets it all whacked out of shape and it ends up on my bench to get straightened out. I think I can get it running again with out ordering any parts, last time the parts bill was over $100. He gets in a rush and forces things.
He's just a little excitable.
Got my .354 sizer today along with my 44 spcl brass so time to make up some rounds for the 44 and the 380.
I also started my testing on a new loading block I'm cutting on our CNC router. Will be testing this block and tweeking the final prototype before production. May check into becoming a vendor on the site and offering these up for purchase. Mixed caliber blocks, and dedicated caliber blocks for shotgun, rifle and pistol. Stay tuned.

TbG, yup they sure do.lol
Made reloading opportunities in 450 N.E., 303 British, 375 H&H and .256 Mannlicher.
And 30-06, Geezer memory.
Finished tuning up the buddy's 9000G, primed 40 300 H&H's and loaded the polisher with 6BR Norma's, 303 British and 7.5x55. Should be nice and spiffy in the morning.

Loaded my brand new, shiny, .303 Savage brass.

Prepped some 45-70 /357/308 brass ,as the range was shut today I stripped and cleaned my 1022 amazing how much crud gets into the trigger group it's even more so with a moderator .clean it when it starts to play up usually after a couple of thousand rounds.it will take 10 shots to settle down after cleaning.
Lots of cleanup. I have neglected the loading room for a while. Finally got the bench cleared off. Exchanged my old digital Dillon scale a while back and opened it today. Set it up and it is 3 grains off. Says things are heavier than they are. Confirmed with 3 other scales. Guess I get to go back to Dillon. Think I'll just get my money back on this one.
I loaded up a few rounds of 765x53 to zero a different scope I swapped around , then I made them empty again .
Wile I was shooting I finished emptying a bunch of 7x57 brass also .
Nice day
Squeezed another 2k boolits last night!!!

Cast about 15 lbs of .40. Should be good for my matches for about a month or so.
My mold is a NOE 402-HTC-188 and has 2 cavities. I kept the boolits from pour #2 on and with the exception of my pouring the occasional bad pour, I got all perfect boolits. That mold has really broken in nicely.
One thing that is a little odd on that mold. Because it is a two cavity mold, I just open the sprue plate by hand but I notice that the hex pins that hold the handles want to walk out. That is the only mold I own that does that. Very odd.

The Lee "10 pound" pot only holds 8.4 lbs of alloy. Fiuxing the sprues back in till the last drop from the bottom pour spout only produced 287 bullet at 205.2 grs average weight.
10 lbs must mean pure lead?
I've got the 20 lb bottom pour. I think it really only holds about 15 or so lbs. I did a 15 lb cast today and I put in 12 3/4 lbs of alloy and had a couple lbs in the pot to start. BUT I had to level it and it was right at the top - maybe a 1/4" from the top. At one point when it was melting, I thought I was going to have a new post in the "What was the dumbest thing you've done" thread... I was planning an emergency lead drop...
Anyway, my mold was just going so about 1/2 way through I threw in 3 or 4lbs of old rejected boolits... Was going to top it off and do a 20-25 lb cast, but the wife came home and wanted to go to happy hour...

Went to size some 375’s from a borrowed mold. It was a older 6 cav lee block, but unmarked. I had cast about 150 pcs and powder coated. Mic showed .392!!! WOW A FAT BOOLIT!! The PC was one I like allot, has silver metallic in it and when I ad that, my coating is always thin and usually even. So I would be very surprised if it was .004 thick. Meaning these dropped from that mold about .388+! My mix was a BHN 15/17 and temps 725/735. (My usual for rifle)
Back in the pot for these, I have broken a few handles on the lil 450, these might break the machine!!!
