Polished the 22 Hornets I shot in yesterday's varmint match. Loaded them in the polisher to polish while I was unloading a couple of boxes of 12 gauge at the skeet league today.

When I got home the brass was all spiffy and I went back to getting the IZH 46 sorted out. Just starting to get comfortable shooting a competition pistol.

As I had to go to the shed to get some charcoal I just couldn't stop myself from loading 20 of those new boolits that I cast. They cycled just fine in the CZ and the Ruger altho I haven't anywhere close to shoot them. but there were no jams or anything with the CZ, which is particular as to what it eats. I filled up one magazine for the CZ with the new rounds. Maybe now I'll shoot it a bit more.....

Did I mention that I didn't have to adjust my seating die at all? That's a plus!

Did I ever mention that I hate to trim brass?

Stared at the bench a bit- then grabbed the 38-55 and some clays and had some offhand fun. It sure plows up the dirt! I was excited that I went 6 straight before I shot low and dislodged one intact.

Built a down draft table for spray powder coating bullets. Tested with some HF white. all the overspray from 12 inches above went straight in the filter. No more sorting bbs out for me.

Well, it started raining yesterday and stormed all night. Its not through yet! Everything is good and wet! I'll spend the day in the loading room. I've got to finish loading up some 223's for a Prairie Dog hunt. I'll try to finish looking through my 3 buckets of mixed type for some letters that another member needs for a project. And I'll spend a little time just looking out the window at the rain!

Cleaning up a shoe-box full of free brass from a friend, obviously picked up out of the mud. It was supposedly all 9mm and 223, but so far I have also found 32 S&WL, 380, 40 S&W, 45 ACP, 7.62x39, and 30-06. All free brass is good.

I'm subscribing to the '1000 rounds per gun' mantra. Working my way to 1000 270 Win. I'm up to 500 with a lot of cases to go. Have 1000 for one AR, need another 1000. 9mm is good to go. Need to work on my 22lr stockpile. Have 2000 for 5 22lrs. Working on the 270 with already primed and flared cases. 200 down and going with the 310 tong tool for fun listening to music. It was a long day at work.

I think I'm going to adopt this... I know I have at least 1000 dirty cases per gun...
