Newbie here, first post, though I've lurked here for a while.
Just snagged at auction a reasonably healthy 1941 Win 94 in .30 WCF. After a thorough cleaning, I began stuffing boolits into cases.
Initial powders tested included 4227, 4198, 4895. All showed promise, but 20 grains of 4227 and filler behind a 150 grain HPGC by GT Bullets sized at .310 walked away from the others.
With a peep, this old gal sure enough could shoot. The below with factory semi-buckhorn:
