The 10 ring,,,,, Oh,,,,,paper plates with a black dot. I do almost always hit the plate and often remove the black dot.
Information not shared. is wasted.
Targets and steel out to 350 yards. After that we have a couple gongs but we do buy the cheap grape soda ( 1.59$ a 12 pack) which lets you know a good hit at farther range.
For fun I enjoy self sealing plastic targets but I do have a selection of steel to work on . Targets that come apart are fun but I rarely use them here .
A variety of guns and projectiles are use to further the fun as well

Buy it cheap and stack it deep , you may need it !
Black Rifles Matter
Used to fill plastic 2 litre pop bottles with water and freeze ,burst spectacularly and very little mess to clean up after .blue plastic bleach bottles have enough strength to skip about when shot with pistol/revolver boolits for quite a few rounds.anything is a good target.
Empty shell casings. 12ga, 20ga, various rifle brass (steel ones ). All at different yardage with different firearms.
Shoot at a privately owned range; it's either paper or a few steel critters. As a kid, we shot paper plates, tin cans and, Dad had the machine shop at the aerospace facility at which he worked, torch off the rear foot or so (nozzle included) of a JATO bottle. Hung nozzle up (looked like a bell) from a tree limb it made an absolutely beautiful sound when you hit it.

I set up golf balls on Ts at 25 yards and like to shoot with my weak hand.
Its a 'space gun' from the stargate tv series.
I like shooting my mouth. Talking with other club members and offering help information when asked. LOL
I have bought full sized c02 cylinders that have failed hydro, the last one the earliest test date was 1931, cut it into 3 equal pieces. the top and bottom ring like a bell when hit with cast. Depending on what you hit it with they can ring for 7-10 seconds. It's like the being called to church on the rifle range. The center section which is just a tube is a deader sound, we whack that with the varmint guns, it gives a nice thwack instead of the ring. I've had to start using old pieces of woven ratchet strap to hang them, the rummies I shoot with get bored shooting as big a target as 1/3 of a cylinder and start trying to make it dance by shooting at the chain. The strap can take a lot more abuse than a 3/8" chain before it drops the dinger.
Smaller/newer/thinner tanks give a nice high pitched tone. The old/heavy/thicker tanks a much deeper sound.
P-dogs!!!!!!!!!! we dont have a range..........they go splat when you hit them..............
Kingsford charcoal briquettes. Especially in winter they explode and leave small chunks at 100 yards that is where the fun starts whole ones do not count only the called pieces score.
I save all the vegetables cans, and milk jugs filled with water. And if I have a few extra bucks I'll buy a 12pack of cheap soda, I like way they explode when shot with a 223 40gr v-max! Steel targets are fun at 100yds with 22 rifles or pistols offhand.
Bunch of you guys must live in the wayback ! Shooting anything on the range floor pretty much frowned on now here ( sometimes allowed right at or on berm ). One richochet onto adjacent property and the range(s) would be history. Did bounce cans a lot when I was a kid on the farm(old REAL tin cans much better than today's aluminum !), shot at real pigeons flying from barn to barn - with a .22 !(actually hit some). Never gave a thought about where the bullets came down !
