Stopped in Gander Mountain today and they have plenty of Unique at $23.99/can. I picked up two cans. That's pretty good pricing, considering if I can find it online for (let's say) $19.50 and order 10#, then pay 20± shipping and 28± hazmat, it's still about $23.80 or so.....
And I can just buy a can at a time, right off the shelf for a few cents more, just like THE GOOD OL' DAYS!!!! Remember those? Going to the store on Wednesday after work and getting just a couple hundred primers and a pound of powder for Saturday's shooting? Then you could always stop again next Wednesday and restock if you were going to shoot 2 Saturdays in a row?
    Ahhhhhh..... the memories.

Finally picked up a couple bottles of Trail Boss. It's been more than a little scarce around here for a while.

A bunch of old cans of IMR powders. None of them are full and I haven't taken full stock. Half a pound of H110 and 1.5#s of Bullseye. There may be more powder but I haven't gone through all the boxes yet.

Well it was Thursday and not today but I went to a bigger city here in Montana, stopped in a store and got three 1 pounders of 2400 for $25 apiece. I never used it since I couldn't find it, went with AA#9 (and been happy), but wanted some to try out, figured the extra couple $$ wasn't a big deal.

Went to another store and....hmm...they had a 15% off all reloading component sale. And they had 2400....and Unique....and Bullseye....and Reloader 22.

Had a limit, ended up with 2 pounds each of the previous 3 for $17 a pound and a 5LB jug of Reloader 22 for $101.

So I was pretty tickled pink. Sadly I'm sure they'll be out by now, and I haven't known anyone going back that way to pick up some more.

Picked up 1 lb. of aa4350 to try out in my 35 whelen along with 1 lb. of imr4895. Although the powder shelves are pretty well stocked locally, there is still no 2400 showing up.

Stopped in the local shop today and picked up a lb of IMR-4320 for some .30-30 testing. I chose that because it had the lowest starting velocity listed in my Lyman manual and because it's a Marlin with Micro-Groove rifling I'm hoping to keep it at the lower end of the velocity range.

Someone stop me! I have enough powder and 22 ammo but I can not help but buy more powder and 22 ammo every time I pass my LGS.

    I have a problem!

was out and about visiting friends and found a, IMHO, good price of 8 of 2400 at the Greenville Sc gun show, so it came home with me.

800X I'm finding it to be an excellent powder for .45 ACP, meters well in my Lee Auto Disc and is very forgiving with boolits. Maybe not the most accurate powder in a particular load, but close to it and does well with several different boolits. Ken Watters was right about this one for sure.
