Never could figure how to post pictures on this forum, but could send them to someone to post, pm me your email. Curly maple stock, same all the way from butt to muzzle, siler lock 7/8 octagon barrel ,all decked out with engraved German silver, buttolate, trigger gaurd, thimbles and nose cap. Single set trigger.42 inch barrel holds really sweet.Just ran a patch down the bore and put my light down there and it's never been shot since it was built

Posting pictures on this sight is so simple that it is easily passed over. To post a picture go to the reply box and right above where you type in the words is a link that looks like a picture frame. Click on that link and a pop up box will appear. If you don't get a pop up box you may have to change that setting on your computer. Once you get the pop up, highlight the "from computer" tab, from there you can click browse and search your computer to find the picture you want to upload.

    .

When all else fails, follow the directions.

If you google "downloading pictures from an I-phone" you will find several tutorials on just how you can do that.

As I remember it Bob Butcher won the Musket Match in NMLRA in the 70s or 80s. I believe he had the butt stock in the middle of his chest. As I remember

I believe this rifle was built back then also cause the old mans estate thought that he had it more than 20 years . It is still unfired. I have some flints coming and have to buy some 4 fg Cause all I have is 1.5 and 2 fg.

Sounds really cool....what caliber? What style?

If you need/want help with posting pics, I'm more than happy to assist. Shoot me a PM if you want.

I agree....such a rifle needs to have some pics posted.

You can make that 2fg work in the pan...frankly, if you just grind a quantity of it in a bowl you'll have something that approaches 4fg.

Yeah, it will. I actually use 3f in the pan all the time personally and it works just fine.

Wow is right. Makes the "picture is worth a thousand words" saying have a little more meaning for me.

I have my father's old coffee grinder that he adapted for grinding bp. Works pretty good, I just don't do more than 1/8 lb at a time.
