No. But I'm seriously looking at the 46-430V
Both are good looking designs.
The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge: but fools despise wisdom and instruction.
Proverbs 1:7
I have that mold and in the Marlin XLR 45/70 ,it will not chamber unless seated below the crimp groove.Could just be my rifle, hope yours is better
Marlins seem to have short throats. We ended up trimming brass to use my 450 gr. WFN Mountain molds in my brothers Guide gun. It would chamber fine in my Cowboy, so consistency from gun to gun isn't so good either.
I don't use the VG version but I do use the 46-405V in my 1895 with good success. I keep them around 1200 fps (trapdoor pressures) and it gives me a 1-1.5" group at 100yds if I do my part and very pleasant to shoot. I've run them up to 1700 fps which slaps me around a bit and opens the groups to around 3". Cast them using ACWW sized to .460 and did not see any leading.
Thanks all I have some measuring to do!
